Coed y Cain Bike Park – Safety Information and Rules
To ride these trails you need to be a member. Under 18s will need a parent or guardian to complete their registration.
Riding these trails involves a risk of injury or death. Riders must ride within their own abilities and capabilities at all times. Riders must adhere to all rules and guidance provided and not ride any trail until they have satisfied themselves of its suitability for their riding experience.
Riders under the age of 12 must have a responsible adult on site whilst they are riding.
A suitable helmet must be worn at all times when riding the trails. It is strongly recommended that you also wear kneepads, gloves and body armour/elbow pads.
Ensure your bike is in good working order before riding the trails.
Ensure your bike is of a suitable type for the trails, in general the following is recommended.
Green – Accessible to all offroad capable bikes including balance bikes (with brakes), cross country bikes, mountain bikes, bmx and jump bikes
Blue – Accessible to mountain bikes, bmx and jump bikes.
Red – Accessible to mountain bikes and jump bikes.
This should be used as guidance only and riders need to determine the suitability of their bike based on their own abilities and experience.
Always assess the trail before riding either by walking the trail or riding it slowly. Even if you have ridden it before. Variables such as weather and maintenance can lead to changes in the trail so always check the trail conditions at the start of your session.
It is not recommended to ride these trails during periods of extreme weather, in particular, snow/ice or high winds.

Riders should keep trails clear at all times, do not push up trails, use the designated push up path. If you need to stop for any reason you should pull over to the side of the trail as soon as it is safe to do so.
The rider in front always has right of way, do not pressure riders to pull over or attempt to overtake them. However if a faster rider catches up to you and it is safe to do so consider pulling over to let them past.

These trails are open to everyone. Ensure you treat all riders and visitors to the site with respect and behave in a way that does not negatively impact other peoples experience of the trails.
This a No Smoking site please do not smoke or vape whilst on site.
By riding these trails you accept that LLANFYLLIN CLUB will not be held liable for losses, injuries or damages either direct or indirect, unless those losses, injuries or damage are caused by the direct negligence of the Llanfyllin Club.
Failure to abide by these rules will result in your membership being terminated and you being banned from using the trails.
